Abschließend werden die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse zur Pränataldiagnostik und den Entscheidungsfindungsprozessen zusammengefasst und diskutiert.

Basierend auf der Tatsache, dass die Einführung des erweiterten Basis-Ultraschallscreening verhältnismäßig kurz zurückliegt, muss darauf hingewiesen werden, dass dementsprechend wenig Literatur vorhanden ist. Darüber hinaus fokussiert die vorliegende Arbeit auf die nicht-invasiven Verfahren der Pränataldiagnostik, die im Rahmen der Mutterschafts-Richtlinien standardmäßig vorgesehen sind und deren Kosten von den Krankenkassen übernommen werden. Zudem wird, aus Gründen der besseren Lesbarkeit wird auf die gleichzeitige Verwendung männlicher und weiblicher Sprachformen verzichtet.
